NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application is being made by National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands) Plc to the Secretary of State at the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989. Consent is being sought to install two new 132kV towers with sealing end platforms and terminate downleads, to supply a loop-in connection to a 49.9MW Generation Solar PV site at Halse Road, Greatworth, Brackley. (Planning Ref: APP/W2845/W/23/3315771)
The proposed new towers are necessary to facilitate the construction of a solar farm in this location. It is proposed that one existing tower will be dismantled.
The tower and downleads will be located at grid reference:

SUCH OBJECTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4 weeks from latest publication. Any such objections or representations will be copied to the relevant planning authority and the applicant unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not so be copied. If there is such a request then the relevant planning authorities and the applicant will only be informed that an objection has been made but no details will be forwarded to them.
